I am a middle school special education teacher with Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).

I am also a member of the Prince William Education Association (PWEA) and Virginia Education Association (VEA).

Prior to teaching with PWCS I held an administrative position as the director of the before and after school program in a local private school.

My undergraduate degree is in Individualized Studies with a concentration in Special Education Psychology. I have a Masters of Science degree in Educational Psychology.

I have two school age children in Manassas City Public Schools and two adult children who are graduates of Osbourn High School.

I am volunteer with and supporter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America; a nonpartisan organization advocating for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence.

In addition, I am a member  of Indivisible NoVa West, a grassroots movement organized to support and advocate for progressive policies, leaders, and rebuild our democracy.

I have been active with the Prince William Swim League as a volunteer and board member for Stonewall Park Swim Team for more than 15 years. I have served on the board a President, Vice President, Volunteer Coordinator, League Representative, and Apparel Manager. While I am no longer a board member, I continue to be an active volunteer at swim meets throughout the summer.

My husband and I moved to the City of Manassas 25 years ago to raise our family. Since that time we have never considered moving anywhere else. (Manassas is home.)
